Hi! I'm Carron, I have been with the Young Carers for many years now. I'm mainly in the office but do some of the activities as well. My thing is cooking & all things arts & crafts. I enjoy trying new things and thanks to the Young Carers I now have a love of archery, climbing and sailing!

Hi I'm Dean, I've been a Young Carer sessional for over 20 years now (god that makes me feel old) after attending the project as a young carer. I'm also a primary school teacher and love being outdoors, climbing, caving and swimming.

Hi all , I'm Patrick I have been working with Young Carers since August 2022 I have had a really great time working with Young people and working as part of a great team, I also work within the borough as a family support worker and a Deputy safeguarding Lead and work with St John's Ambulance as a operational first aider.

Hi! I'm Ronda, a sessional worker with Barking and Dagenham Young Carers and I occasionally show my face at Thurrock sessions too. You're likely to see me on residentials, as I love all things camping and adventure. I have been with the project since the age of 11 as a young carer myself. In my full-time job, I am a researcher. My name Is Sonia Walker I have been a Sessional worker for with Young Carers for four years. I enjoy working with Young carers because it enables me to work alongside young people,  seeing all the growth and developments over time . My spare time is spent cooking / baking hiking and enjoying the great outdoors.

Hi, I'm Adebayo Adesan, a sessional worker for carers of Barking and Dagenham. I'm been a member of this organisation for quite a number of years now. I'm passionate about the young carers project because we get to impact and inspire some of our young people that come from all different walks of life and family situations. We get to be that constant anchor from 8 to 18 and beyond, if they so choose to engage with us. Giving them back some form of childhood away from there heavy responsibility at home, and at times school. We at Barking and Dagenham think the world of our young carers, as they are the future, so we try to ensure they enjoy there childhood as much as possible.
